Our policies

Your appointments are very important to us, they are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes scheduling adjustments are necessary, therefore we respectfully request 24 hours notice for cancellations.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waitlist may miss the opportunity to receive services. A valid credit card is required to hold all appointments. In addition, all facial appointments require a $50 booking fee to reserve the timeslot. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a 100% no-show fee will apply in the event a no-show occurs.

Aurum Aesthetic Atelier’s policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for our established and future clientele. Thank you for viewing and supporting our policies criteria.

Children’s Safety Policy

Children are only permitted in the studio when having a service, accompanied by another adult. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not have the facilities to care for children. We love children, and we hope you can understand, we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of other guests. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Our Return/Refund Policy

Unopened products may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase for another product of similar value. Please understand products are carefully chosen for each client based upon skin consultation and condition, so we ask that you please do not solicit a return/exchange based upon a dislike of texture or fragrance. Please Note: Our products are very potent so as to provide the best results, and as your skin acclimates, this may purge dormant breakout, this is NOT a reaction and it will subside.

At Aurum Aesthetic Atelier, all treatments are carried out by a Maryland licensed esthetician. If you had a treatment that you are unsatisfied with, please contact us immediately. We cannot give refunds on any treatments already rendered, but we will look into your concerns immediately.

All gift-card purchases and pre-paid services are non-refundable but are transferrable.

Sanitization and Sterilization

Sanitization is a priority at Aurum Aesthetic Atelier. We use hospital-grade disinfectants and virucides to thoroughly disinfect and clean all of our tools and equipment. Sanitization was of the utmost importance prior to COVID-19, and continues to be a priority for your safety.

Late Arrival

If you are running a few minutes behind, please send us an email and let us know. Please understand that phone calls or texts may not be answered if we are in a session with another client. Our cut-off time for treating you is 15 minutes past your appointment time. If you will be later than 15 minutes, we will have to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged the late cancellation/no-show fee.

FOR FACIALS: If you are going to be 15 minutes late or less, we can still perform and finish your treatment at the same price.

Health Conditions & Information

Please advise Skin by Tatiyana, LLC. of any special health conditions upon scheduling your appointment as this may affect your selected treatments. We ask that you fill out your digital intake form prior to arriving to your appointment. If you experience high/low blood pressure, heart conditions, pregnancy, cancer, allergies, skin rash or any health conditions, we advise you to consult your doctor before your treatment and present a doctor’s note of approval. We reserve the right to refuse treatment due to non-compliance with home care, contraindicated skin, and health conditions.

Skin by Tatiyana, LLC. holds health to the highest standards, and therefore ask clients to cancel appointments when they are feeling unwell.

Aurum Aesthetic Atelier and its employees reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for inappropriate behavior, asking to work outside of scope of practice, illness listed as contraindications for services, or as deemed necessary. Aurum Aesthetic Atelier assume no responsibility for any disclosed or undisclosed illness or personal injury.
