Transition to Spring Skincare

Catching Up!

Hi family! So good to catch up with you! No one told me I forgot to send out a newsletter last month :( …just kidding, you guys did! Glad to know you enjoy them! Today officially makes 2 months since we've been open and its been such a dream!

We truly love our new space and are so happy to have a space to call our own!

Anyway, a new season is upon us and, of course, I wouldn't be your esthetician if I didn't provide you with tips to make the transition easier! Keep reading below for tips to adjust to Spring!

  1. Double up on your hydrating serums! Spring is notorious for fluctuating weather, so it's not uncommon for it to be chilly in the morning and hot by 2pm. This constant fluctuation can throw off your skin's hydration levels. Consider adding Lira Clinical Bio Hydra Infusion to your routine.

  2. Be sure to check your skincare to make sure none of it is expired! Especially your sunscreen! P.S. try Lira's new SPF Solar Shield. It is our replacement or an alternative for the DMK Sunscreen.

  3. Consider stepping up your exfoliant. As it gets warmer, you may need to transition from exfoliating 1-2 times a week to 2-3 times a week. If you aren't sure what to use, myself or Lexi can assist!

  4. Don't neglect your body! We spend a lot of time on our face, but make sure you are taking care of your body! Before you put on that bathing suit for the first time, consider a Body Enzyme treatment to firm and lift and assist with cellulite. Then, grab DMK Body Sculpting Creme to use at home daily! I like to exfoliate first with DMK Micro Peel! For callused feet, grab DMK Calerase Creme to keep your feet smooth in between pedi's!
